Here is a short guide to help you access your Bobcat’s GUI, which has lots of useful data about your Bobcat Miner 300, such as temporary files, the firmware version, ports open, the blockchain number, etc…
You must first be aware of the IP address assigned to your Bobcatminers Miner 300. You can find this by logging into your Router and under-connected devices you will see “Bobcatminer” and next to it the The assigned IP address.
Alternatively, you can pair with it using Bluetooth on your Bobcatminer Miner 300 and search for it that way. Start by depressing the tiny pin-sized button on the back of your Bobcatminer until the miner’s light turns blue. The next step is to pair up with the miner using your Helium app, after which you can run a diagnostic test and see the IP address of the Bobcat miner in the details.
When you have the Bobcat’s IP, you need to type it into your browser’s address bar and press search or enter. This should open the Bobcat Miner 300’s GUI, where you will see a wide range of options.
The device you use to enter the IP address into the browser must be connected to the same network as the Bobcatminer, as an aside. For instance, a phone or computer that is linked to the same router as your Bobcat Remember that in order for this to work when using your phone, you must connect via Wi-Fi and not your data plan.
